First awarded in 1980, the Spotlight Award is designed to recognize the achievement of a FACS professional who has displayed a pattern of accomplishment which has strengthened the image and goals of the association.

2008 Recipient - Cynthia Theiss
The Teacher of the Year Award identifies and recognizes outstanding educational programs, methods, techniques and activities that provide the stimulus for and give visibility to FACS elementary and secondary education.
Apple Award

The Apple Award is given to honor someone who has made a personal or professional difference in the life of a FACS professional.
Victoria Gangloff Betty Lamp Award (Western District Award)
2008 Recipient-
This award was established in 1990 by Western District in honor of Victoria Gangloff and is given annually to a FACS professional who meets the criteria.
